Since we announced Ellen Tribley as a Neo G Athletic Partner, the 15-year-old wheelchair tennis sensation has only taken her game from strength to strength.

It has been a busy couple of months for Ellen. In that time, Ellen has achieved several personal milestones, not least of all qualification for the Tennis Lawn Association Play Your Way To Wimbledon National Finals! The National Finals are due to be held at Wimbledon in August.

Ellen has also been making regular appearances at International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior competitions, including events at Knokke in Belgium and the National Tennis Centre (NTC), London. Ellen put in some excellent performances across both competitions stretching her own skills and gaining invaluable experience.

Follow those tournaments, Ellen competed at another ITF event in Hilversum, Netherlands, reaching the semi-finals.

As a result of her performances, Ellen has broken into the top 20 of the world rankings and is now ranked 15 in the world; What’s more, she’s the British National Champion and has already defeated the French National Champion.

Ellen has also been expanding her doubles game, taking part in a regional LTA tournament at Loughborough University where she was runner up with her partner and came third in the singles women’s draw.

Since becoming a Neo G athletic partner, Ellen has also attended a P.R. event at the NTC where she met and had time on the court with Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid, the wheelchair tennis men’s world number one and world number five, respectively. After hitting some serves with the pair, Reid, a fellow lefty, complimented Ellen’s technique.

Before leaving the event, one Sir Andy Murray appeared and graciously chatted with the wheelchair tennis players. Both Ellen and her parents were understandably blown away and Britain’s most successful male player was kind enough to snap a picture.

Ellen has also been selected to represent England at an event in Newport where she and other English athletes will be taking on their Welsh counterparts. We wish Ellen the best of luck and will be back soon with another Ellen update!
