Using Hot or Cold therapy can be helpful for a variety of injuries and conditions. There are lots of options available on the market, from instant single use solutions to the last resort option of a bag of frozen peas.

 

Neo G offer 2 unique products that can be used either Hot or Cold. They are flexible and reusable making them perfect to have around the house ready for use when needed. They also can be used alongside a variety of Neo G orthopaedic supports, allowing for hands free therapy.

 

How to heat or cool the disc or pack:

 

Ensure product is at room temperature before heating or cooling.

 

To Heat Disc

Remove all packaging and place Disc in heat resistant bowl, cover entire Disc with approx. 1 litre of boiling water and leave immersed for 3-6 minutes. With caution, pour water from bowl, remove Disc, dry with a towel, place into protector sleeve and apply to affected area.

 

To Cool Disc

Remove all packaging. Place Disc in freezer for approximately 90 minutes. Remove Disc from freezer with caution, place into protector sleeve and apply to affected area.

 

To Heat Pack

Remove all packaging and place Pack in heat resistant bowl, cover entire Pack with approx. 1.5 litres of boiling water and leave immersed for 5-8 minutes. With caution, pour water from bowl, remove Pack, dry with a towel, place into protector sleeve and apply to affected area.

 

To Cool Pack

Remove all packaging. Place Pack in freezer for approximately 120 minutes. Remove Pack from freezer with caution, place into protector sleeve and apply to affected area.

 

 

Apply Hot or Cold therapy for as long as comfortable, but for no more than 10-15 minutes at a time. If using alongside a Neo G support, apply loosely and ensure compression is not too tight.
